8. Even with fully Democratic control of government |
|
Obama would never do it. He doesn't believe in holding republicans responsible for any crimes they might have committed.
Look forward rather than back, and all that shit.
We don't have a leader with the courage to spearhead a campaign to get any corrupt republican out of office, no matter how corrupt, or how much public support their would be.
We don't have a leader. We have a public speaker in chief. He wobbles and waffles and caves in very well. :(

10. That? How about THOSE lying, thieving, ignorant SOB's!! |
|
Roberts, Scalia, and Alito deserve impeachment as well! Scalia for what Thomas has been doing and hunting with Cheney. Roberts and Alito for lying on the stand about their judicial activism.

11. Personally, if Obama lets SS get raped, then I think we should cut an impeachment TRADE! |
|
Let Issa and company impeach and convict Obama then, and then get Howard Dean in the White House (Gerry Ford style).
In exchange, we'd also impeach Thomas, Scalia, and/or Roberts.
And one more caveat. If they have to rely on criteria to impeach Obama with criteria that could also be applied to Bush and Cheney (torture and rendition, not using habeus corpus, and warrantless wiretapping), then they should also impeach Bush and Cheney at the same time so that they can't return to politics either!

12. But there's actually a chance at impeaching him |
|
Is perjury not an impeachable offense? Maybe not tax evasion, but a serious breach of ethics at least. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/01/23/supreme-court-justice-clarence-thomas-wifes-income_n_812697.htmlWhy is the case not being made for this? And to top it off, he's a nut!
