Keep an eye out for the change in right-wing rhetoric. |
|
Now that they can't use their violent words, they're dredging up things that are forty years old. Like accusing someone they don't agree with on reader's forum as: probably the kind of person who would have spit on our Vietnam vets when they came home. Or, that kind of person that would fight to keep someone from the death penalty after they raped and killed someone's mother, father and dog.

4. Who says they can't use violent words? |
|
Unless there is another hate inspired incident in the near future where a prominent Democrat is injured or killed, they will be right back spouting off the same shit in another month.
It's just not in the DNA of pieces of shit like beck and limbaugh to give up the hate talk. They may be lying low right now but it won't last. Once the memories of Tucson wear off they'll be back at it before you know it.

7. I really really doubt they're going to give up on the violent words. |
|
Pulling back on the rhetoric now would be tantamount to admitting that they've been wrong. Moreover, it would cause the far right fringe to turn on them.

9. I think there will be some who will tone it down. |

I don't think it's going to affect everyone equally.

Violent people don't give up violent rhetoric.
And they all have very short memories and no grasp on historical facts.
