Anti-government demonstrations in Egypt on Tuesday were the biggest the country has seen since the bread riots of 1977. Inspired by the recent uprising in Tunisia, they involved thousands of Egyptians from a variety of opposition groups. But just who are these opposition movements and what are their demands?

1. This is sad, this is a people's movement made up of hungry, pissed off

tired people. None of those groups are at the forefront of this street movement; they're not even involved in an official capacity, with the exception of April 6 which is a young movement of workers.

Why do we (our countries) always have to pretend extremists are the problem when the real problem is just hungry, pissed off people who don't have two nickels to rub together?
