9. I have an update about him.
He says, "Ouch!" ;)

I'm doing ok. The headaches are less frequent and intense already, which is a little faster than it was for my last concussion. The other stuff will just take time to mend, but isn't a big deal to me (been in enough hockey games and moshpits that getting biffed up is nothing new). My arm is totally immobilized, so there's no major pain there or anything. I have some of those Motrin 800's (can't so real painkillers), and that's helping enough to dull what pain there is.

The concussion stuff worries me a lot more, so the progress on that already is a good thing for me. Still have some foggy stretches, and I don't remember everything about yesterday at the moment, but I do feel progress.

I've been at my father's but I'm going home later on. i miss my cat. :)

12. I know all about missing a cat!
My daughter was seriously sick last month and I had to leave my cats to the tender mercy of a neighbor for six weeks! Lilith and cat-Mandu were ok , but I was a wreck! My daughter is ok except for the tracheotomy which should be gone in a couple of weeks.

Get better!:loveya:

19. Gravity a mother
good to hear you are doing better and have someone to watch over you.

You need to get some actual medical attention bud. A co-worker of my wife's was in the hospital for 5 days for a blood infection BEFORE they found out that he had broken his collar bone and tore his rotator (sp?) cuff. Even if you can't afford it get it. If you do have coverage set up an annual physical those are now uncharged under "Obamacare".

i'm very fortunate, because I have Masshealth and everything is covered, so people are keeping an eye on me. :)

22. hey there!
glad to hear from you! i'm relieved to know you're on the mend. But please be careful. If you live alone, be sure to check in with someone (who has your house keys) several times a day, just to say you're still kicking. If that person does not hear from you, he or she should come over to check on you. I'm sure you'll be fine, but given that head injury, it's best to be on the safe side.

Hang in there!
