The Egyptian people have held a remarkably united, orderly and well-mannered revolt for days now.

They are asking for freedom and democracy and the longer this tool refuses to step down, the uglier it could get. More lives could be lost, the direction of the crowds could change. He is sacrificing the good of Egypt's millions of people for his one ego.
