MY APC is getting a workout today. That is the fifth time it has had to intervene for a blackout.

Make that six times. Just did it again for about a minute.

May not make it through the night without needing the generator? Beginning to wonder anyway.

but no outages yet (X fingers).

I will have to stoke a fire all night if we loose power. My wife suggested I get extra firewood from the back yard at 4:00pm, I had just come in from blowing snow from the driveway, I was in no mood to go back out.

We are getting ice now expect 3/4 inch or more.

3. I have an APC...

I use it when I feel like reloading an operating system to prevent hacking.
