Here I am in front of our local high school. We ended up with around a foot of new snow last night.

The main roads are clear however, the back roads will of course take some time and with the wind drifting will continue for the immediate future.




I quit shoveling last year and bought myself a authentic Yooper snow scoop. I can do the drive and sidewalk in about the same time as a snow blower and the only thing it burns is calories. But no more back breaking shoveling. :-)

1. Just got done with the driveway (about 16 inches in total), I used an electric snowblower..

Which IMO is an awesome tool. It doesn't work quite as well as gas, but it's cleaner.

Sorry, no pics right now.

My neighbors are borrowing the snow blower and so far they have cleared three driveways where the residents are too old to shovel. I just moved here, but obviously there are some good, kind neighbors here. The way it should be.

2. Our neighbor has a blower and he was helping clear out

everyone's drive and sidewalk. It's always much appreciated when others help out especially in weather events like this.
