2. How long before RW media in the states seize on that
to turn the tide of American support against the anti-govt protestors.

9. The US
isn't exactly flavour of the month with the protestors given the lame speeches from your administration over the past week or so and I doubt they would give a fuck what America at large thinks.

7. There's lots of US Twitter support going on.
That's how people show their support anymore, Twitter and Facebook.

8. The ran the "Muslim Brotherhood" name through Frank Luntz's machine
and found a winning phrase that will scare Americans. You can bet that we will be getting a tsunami of "Muslim Brotherhood" sprinkled news stories and the phrase will also see a dramatic uptick of mentions on right-wing hate radio. Be afraid is the favorite message of the right-wing and sadly it works much of the time.

16. Meanwhile, on Al Jazeera, you could watch them being throw by pro-Mubarak thugs LIVE
***** EGYPT Live Blog ***** Al Jazeera English: Live Stream Feb. 2 *****

And, live on television, the pro-Mubarak attackers were hurling large stones, tiles, chairs, etc. from the rooftops down on the protesters, literally tearing buildings apart to hurl thing down.

17. Who but the police and state-sponsored thugs would have had access to those rooftops?
The people of Egypt know the truth. This was the wrong move for Mubarak's government. Now the people will be out for blood - Muslims take that whole "eye for and eye" thing literally, even if it takes a generation or two to exact justice.

Like Mubarak, I doubt the police who instituted harassment and torture of the average citizen have any clue of what's headed their way.

18. How many ways can the Mubarak foment fear to try and stop the democracy movement without
relying on uniformed to attack protesters directly? So far two ways. They pulled the police off the street a few days ago hoping looting would take place. Now they send plainclothes security officers in to incite violence. What will they think of next?.... pulling the army out?
