At least, that's how it seems right now.

1. Just watched. I didn't see anyone from PP getting air time.
they just had the anti-choice women on talking about how PP should not get $$ from the government because of what they found when they tried to set up PP.. even though the employee in question not only reported the supposed "pimp", as is required by PP's own rules, but that employee was also fired.

the right wing nutzo's can't seem to make an argument without attempting to lie, trick, or steal in order to "win".

3. Why was the employee fired if she did
Edited on Wed Feb-02-11 04:22 PM by EC
what was required by calling police and reporting?

Nevermind just read on another entry that she did advise the "pimp". How dumb. How fast people forget about O'Keefe's set-up or can't put 2 and 2 together. The guy should have been shown the door without any advise.

4. That's absolutely true
and i wonder if the employee was actually a plant by anti-choice crazies to help them in the set up.
because i honestly don't believe that PP would advise such people, regardless of their policy on turning their names in to the police immediately, which is what the employee did.

5. + 1
agreed - on the "plant" thing.

I've been following this closely. A week or so ago, PP announced that they'd contacted the Fibbies re: multiple locations reporting strange individuals visiting clinics with the same basic rap as this co-conspirator of Miss Rose's who is on the film, and that they believed it was a hoax perpetrated by her criminal enterprise.

Miss Rose's response was that she would not confirm or deny, but that "explosive evidence" WOULD be forthcoming from her criminal enterprise in the very near future.

I wondered then, so HOW is she so sure that her cabal was really "successful" in obtaining this "explosive evidence"?

Well, if you had a plant that you were 100% certain would say the rehearsed lines and stick to the script, you would be sure.

And if you then went around to several more clinics with the same MO, just to make the "sting" look like it was "random", you'd think that you'd covered your @ss.

I wonder if that little weasel Abby Johnson has anything to do with this scam? She would know people in national PP, and may have been a facilitator in setting up the plant.

7. So they are treated an admitted hoax like it's real news?
absurd.

Of course, when Connecticut School of Broadcasting advertises "you don't have to take English or psychology or any of that stuff," is it any wonder broadcast "journalism" is what it is?
