Mr. President
We were told that our cause in iraq was to liberate the people. You have before you a whole nation struggling to free themselves from oppression. It wouldn't take tanks, war planes or thousands of troops. Nope this one would be easy. Words. Harsh words. Words that convince. So why isn't the U.N. involved? To finalize the next time you want to send troops somewhere it will never be for their freedom that is clear now .

5. No I am grouping all president who seat the hold democracy and
freedom for people as the highest goal. We are still in Afghanistan and are still in Iraq under Obama. Does that answer your question?

18. "Does that answer your question?"
No, it doesn't. President Obama didn't invade Iraq to liberate its people. That was Bush, not any other President, Bush.

Projection. You're the one who confused the actions of two different presidents.

27. Been hit in the head lately?
We were told that the invasion of Iraq was for freedom and democracy. Show me where in my post it said " you told the American people the invasion of Iraq was for freedom and democracy." You can't. The standing president still has to uphold the fact the we promote freedom and democracy. It's obvious you don't agree with that. So you are for tyranny? What a joke.

30. There's still plenty of troops in Iraq.
But I guess Obama was true to his word. He never said he would pull completely out. Which should have been a tip off to us in the first place.

31. This post was and still is about him not taking a stand
Edited on Sat Feb-05-11 01:51 PM by RegieRocker
for freedom and democracy. And as usual the twisters (far left) try desperately to change the meaning of things falsely. They don't know the difference between statements and accusations. If person came up to you and said "I was told you could help me with ....." Would you think they meant you told them? No I would think not. But you would if they said "You told me you could help me with....." So the number of twisters here has compelled me to believe that the mental block on the far left is the same as the mental block on the far right. There is no reasoning with them. They hear and see only what they want to see. Fortunately the President has agreed with me and took a more firmer stand about the matter and not continued the direction that others would've like for him keep. Thank you for your response.

3. Good statement
Just add to it: "and moving forward in an orderly way means that Mubarak must leave now, as in today, and will play no role whatsoever in the transition to democracy."

quarterbacks. I think he has this covered without your help. But thanks anyway. I'm sure he appreciates your vast insight on global matters.
