Just read where GOP guys gave up on "forcible rape"

verbage. Now they are on to denying abortions to women even if their lives depend on it.

This idea is really odd. Most of the time the foetus would die if the mother died. So what is the point in this. Its now better to let both of them die than to save the mother.

These people are just plain nuts.

1. It depends on your definition of a "person".
If a woman isn't a "person", then it makes perfect sense, actually.

And no, I'm not being sarcastic. That, at the root, is the real issue, IMO.

2. Sadly, I think you're right
We're still mere breeders or chattel to too many men.

3. then maybe Walmart should have abortions
We will see how quickly the GOP reacts to that one.

I guess Walmart is more of a person than a woman is.

4. If her life is "endangered"

Which means that she could survive giving birth, if not much longer....because we know that the possibility of her delivering an infant is more important than anything else in her life, including her other kids, her husband or her own selfish will to survive.

7. I would tend to agree
When you look at all the other oppression and control applied to women, it would seem that this is just another way to tell us we still don't own ourselves.

6. First -
This crap p*sses me off.

Second - It's been a month. Where. Are. The. Jobs.

This is a smokescreen for their lack of a jobs agenda - we all know it - and so they are going to send up a bunch of useless unpalatable legislation to the Democratic Senate to waste the American tax payers time and money.

Worthless. Zero worth. Every single Republican in the House.
