Idiot Wind
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — America is on a "road to ruin" because of misguided policies in Washington and needs to get back in step with the values of Ronald Reagan, Sarah Palin said at an event honoring the former president's legacy.

The 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee delivered a stinging critique of Washington during her speech Friday, part of the national celebration marking the centennial of Reagan's birth on Feb. 6.

Revisiting themes familiar from her 2008 campaign, she said the nation was being shackled by high debt and taxes, dense government regulation and rising spending, often for programs that don't work. She said a rush toward green energy was overlooking the nation's oil and natural gas reserves, a choice that will cost jobs and drive up pump prices.

She blamed Washington leaders – an apparent reference to the Obama administration – for doing "everything in their power to stymie responsible domestic drilling." ...............(more)

1. we,re still paying for reagan's mistakes
He was a good person but a terrible president. Arms for hostages, dumpimg the metally impaired onto the streets, and spending us into oblivion made him one of our worst presidents. That's why republicans worship him....they're ignorant.

2. He wasn't a good person. He was a mean old man.
And he was mean and two-faced before he was old.

5. Musta been the Alzheimer's
He didn't come across as that mean to me, but I didn't know the guy. I didn't know he was as sorry a president as he was till years later. I never bothered to read his bio cuz I really didn't care that much for the guy. I remember him as the guy on the Death Valley Days show on tv. Wasn't a good actor, either.

6. he was not a good person, he was always an incompetent hack.
he was a terrible governor of CA--still cannot believe he was elected president.

(look at the chapter in a book called "the last days of the late, great state of CA" for a quick history of his tenure as gov.

7. What those 2 have/had most in common:
Idiot wind, blowing every time you move your mouth
Blowing down the backroads headin’ south
Idiot wind, blowing every time you move your teeth
You’re an idiot, babe
It’s a wonder that you still know how to breathe
