Ain't it clever the way Keith Olberman arranged demonstrations in Egypt
Edited on Fri Feb-11-11 01:37 AM by fadedrose
Just as he was let go by MSNBC??

They don't have enough experienced people to cover the situation without him. Everyone who's on camera calls for Rachel to come help, since she's the only other one who can handle an anchor's job besides Brian Williams. Ed is more of an opinion guy, and some of the others do a decent interview - but for what's going on, they have only Rachel and Brian for live coverage. And Engle does best with Rachel too.

I bet they wish they had Keith there till this thing blows over, if it ever does....

1. Olbermann seems like a difficult person to work with, and I bet
a lot of people at MSNBC are glad he's gone. JMO. I don't like him and think he's a narcissist.

3. I like him better than Chris Matthews
Now there's a narcissist if I ever saw one. And he never gives an honest opinion like Keith does, he butters his bread on both sides.

13. Dear me. Not my opinion, however.

And I don't believe you know of a single soul at MSNBC who was thrilled to see him go, now do you?

2. Keith would be tearin' up the airwaves, it would be awesome. Like crossing Anderson Cooper....
....Thomas Paine & Yogi Berra. I can't wait until his new show is on.

4. I thought that Clarence Thomas arranged the protests.
I posted to my nephew on the 28th:

"Yesterday I was trying to indict Clarence Thomas and today, I am trying to overthrow Hosni Munarak."

5. So THAT'S why Ginny Thomas called up Mohamed El-Baradei and asked him to apologize?
Edited on Fri Feb-11-11 01:57 AM by Ken Burch

7. I'm pretty sure she asked him to die.
She was drunk again, so hard to decipher.

8. She could've asked for BOTH, I suppose...
When your slurring your words and spilling MadDog on your celphone as you talk, it's hard to tell.

6. Tweety was pathetic even though he tried to do
three hours today. He kept calling Mubarek Barack and seemed to have a problem comprehending exactly what the Egyptians were pissed about. Gee, why can't they be like us. :eyes:

9. Tomorrow, he'll be indignantly denying rumors that Hosni Mubarak is a Muslim...
...just sayin'...

11. I also noticed Matthews' obvious confusion regarding important names ...
It is time for hime to go. I'm tired of complaining to MSNBC.

15. I noticed that too & wondered what the hell was the matter with him
Apparently he wasn't listening throughout the afternoon to the reporters on the ground.

You would've thought someone might enlighten him during a commercial break. Instead, they allowed him to continue to be stupid.

But finally at one point, Tweetie said, "oh, now I get it". I'm not convinced he did.

12. where are all those New York Commie Jews?
You know, the ones that went to Philadelphia, Mississippi, and made all those black people start demonstrating, marching, having lunch counter sit-in protests and all that stuff.

J. Edgar Hoover was convinced it was those New York Jewish college student agitators stirring up those black people.

:sarcasm: :sarcasm:

This "outside agitator" idea is thoroughly insulting to whoever is out in the streets demonstrating and putting their asses on the line.

14. Could be CGI for all anyone knows.
But that would not change the fact that I am due beer and travel money and many experiences.

However there are some events that are interesting conceptually.
