Boehner, GOP pan Obama budget as 'spending the future'
As expected, President Obama is getting bad reviews from Republicans with his $3.7 trillion budget request for fiscal year 2012.

House Speaker John Boehner says the president's new plan has too much spending, too many taxes and borrows too much money.

"The president's budget isn't winning the future, it's spending the future," Boehner said. playing off Obama's "win the future" phrase from his State of the Union Address.

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va., continuing the GOP's theme for the day, says, "The future will not be won by repeating the mistakes of the past and failing to live up to our responsibilities in the present."

1. Well, the Boner and the GOP have plenty of experience with "spending the future"
They didn't have any trouble spending decades worth of "the future" when Reagan, Bush, and the shrub were in office.

2. Boner should look at the bright side.
All kinds of poor people will die without heat and won't require social services.

3. The GOP doesn't think that we need to spend a dime for anything except
the military and giving the rich tax cuts.
