I call upon all union members and public employees, especially in Wisconsin to not spend ONE DIME over what you need to in order to survive.
If our governor thinks he can whip up 250,000 jobs, I'd like to see where. There already will be less money in the economy if he gets his way.
Let's screw it down as tightly as we can.

if you are worried about punishing the innocent, many of the farmers and small business owners I know in Wisconsin are REPUBLICANS. And those who aren't, well, maybe if the pinch is enough, we'll get off our collective duffs and do something about it.
NOT ONE DIME!

7. The small business owners may be Republicans, but not sure about those farmers. |
|
When I was growing up in Wisconsin in the 70's the farmers were democrats. Of course, my family and many others eventually sold our family farms. If it's just factory farmers now most of them surely are repubs.
I would still buy my milk and eggs locally and go to the farm markets rather than put down cash at the local Walmart. JMHO.

most of my farmer neighbors can't wait for Sarah Palin's Alaska to be on TV, and think we are overpaid babysitters (teachers). They are REPUBS. Even the one's with small family farms. I can think of ONE that is run by a dem, and they just got out of the business (dairy) and retired.

11. Things have changed then ... |
|
I was born in Ripon Wisconsin (central - a couple hours north of Milwaukee).
All the small farmers and factory workers I knew were democrats. But that was before the whole Reagan Revolution ... I'm not really surprised to hear your updated information, but it is sad. And it explains the new governor - what a piece of work that guy.

12. It's 'complicated' really... |
|
The people of Wisconsin would have to wait one year before a recall can be implemented, only after collecting the requisite number of signatures within a 60-day period following one year.
Alot of damage can be done in the next year, sh*t; by next week...
