I Feel an Anger Rising.
Not a "Rant and Run" kind of anger, but the kind of anger that leads to constructive action. Maybe there is hope, or maybe it's just my own hope based on the outcome in Egypt.

Anyway, there are two things that I am certain of ...

1. Things cannot stay the way they are.
2. Some of us will not go quietly into the night.

The Greed Merchants need to tread lightly now. Tread lightly you greedy bastards - and don't look back. Someone might be gaining on you.

2. Almost time
to go underground for real.

Not just some exhibitionist rantings, safe behind a keyboard.

Ironic isn't it as one part of the world is fast offing the shackles we helped to maintain in so many places when the attack is being pushed forward here. The coordinated attacks on public employee unions in several states at once, proposals to drop the social safety net, escalatinos in illegal wars.

Wake up

Both parties are in on it.

Hands off my Social Security!
Hands off Latin America!

4. They've just about plundered it all.
Social Security is the last thing of value in the country & when they steal that, they will not be able to make gates high enough to keep us out.

"You only have power over people so long as you don’t take everything away from them. But when you’ve robbed a man of everything, he’s no longer in your power – he’s free again." ~Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

7. I wonder how that will be led. Will the collective consciousness just come about
and people in mass will say enough is enough? I often wonder what will wake up the sleeping majority in this country. I swear we are a nation of robots, trained/bred to go with the flow. Many don't even care enough to vote ... maybe we are better many don't.

10. "Greed merchants" are doubling their speculation on things like cotton
which has doubled in price the last few months alone. Nothing will ever change until corruption is dealt with on a broad scale, starting with holding war criminals accountable for torture and their conspiracy to commit war.

14. The general public is conditioned to believe that their Plight is their Fault...
and the rage is then displaced onto the "other" (immigrants & minorities & the "godless") as the scapegoat.
Reinforced by the "fact" that one of these "Others" is President. A perfect focal point for the (non)revolution.
If there is an "uprising" it will be a bizarre tea-party-esque "French Revolution in Reverse".
