saying that preserving SS would be BY FAR the easiest thing to do, in relation to the health care programs.

21. Great material. I'm really sick of RW myths being recycled into conventional wisdom.

My SS contributions over 20 years represent a portion of my savings and I tend to take it personally when hand-wringing defeatists or partisan shills explain to me that I just have to let it go. It's gone. Just worthless IOU's.

The theft of the trust fund will be complete when cuts or "tweaking" or whatever you want to call it gives the system a permanent surplus but until that time I want Democrats to get informed and inform others.
