Katie Couric: Gov. Walker (R-WI) wants state employees to pay a larger part of their ...
... health insurance and pensions.

They showed a few seconds of demonstrators in the rotunda of the state capitol.

And that was it. No mention of why the protestors were so numerous or so angry. The whole *report* took less than 30 seconds.

Like Velshi, earlier today on CNN, who reported that there were hundreds of protesters in Madison. Meh.

3. Gee Katie, what if CBS unilaterally changed your contract?
No more make-up allowance. A pay cut. Changes in the personal appearance clause. Start paying for the little amenities your agent or your manager negotiated for you. I wonder what your reaction might be, Ms. Couric? Hmmmm? After all, CBS needs to cut some costs and fatten its bottom line, and they can't do that AND kick in to your pension or retirement fund.

5. Censorship through omission.
At least Pravda in the old Soviet Union outright lied.

We just omit the truth...much more insidious.

6. But if three teabaggers had shown up we'd have seen 15 minutes of coverage and 2 teeth.

9. Write her here
http://www.cbsnews.com/htdocs/feedback/fb_news_form.shtml?tag=ftr

I did and asked her to cover the story better than a small informationless blurb. It can't hurt to try.
