sense in our country today, and it was hilarious because Woodruff and Lehrer treated his coming on the show as if it was some kind of special occasion. Like they'd gone to the zoo and were looking at some exotic animal. LOL

Which, I guess in their world, would be exactly what it feels like to hear someone not speaking the language of corporate bootlickers.

3. I watched McNeil-Lehere Newshour in the 70's

and remember how deflating it was to see it turn into the Lite-News Hour over time. Judy Woodruff went to CNN and the cement was set.

will check it out on line.. i can't stand watching snooze hour these days, and frankly your description of their treatment of Sanders speaks to exactly why i can't stomach their "news" reporting. after all, PBS is the Pentagon Broadcasting Station.. which makes it so hilarious that the reich wing wants to defund it. Leherer et al does their bidding very well..

which, again, when I thought about it, made a lot of sense. So I put it in my subject line.

I just thought it funny that something Lehrer said could both be slightly condescending toward liberals and unintentionally satirical of our media.
