Yup, They're Gone
David Kurtz | February 17, 2011, 3:17PM

Wisconsin state Democratic senator won't reveal his location but believes all the Democratic senators have left the state.

The Senate sergeant-at-arms has completed a search of the Capitol building and having found no Democratic senators it's not clear what he'll do next. Also unclear is how aggressive the state patrol will be in trying to round up the recalcitrant Democrats -- although if they're all out of state then the state patrol is handcuffed, as it were.

1. If they are smart they will have gone to Illinois
If they went to Ohio or Michigan don't think for a moment that the Republican governors of those states would hesitate to use their state's resources to round up quorum breakers.

I remember when our TX Dems literally crawled out the windows to stop the rightwing railroading.

7. The Killer Bees!
I used to have the tee shirt! My cousin was working at the state capital in Austin at the time and I was visiting. Her teenaged son scrounged up one of the shirts before they all sold out.

The original walk out there was during the early 70s, IIRC.

they are delaying the vote giving the protesters more time to protest.
