Issa Issues Subpoenoa to Bank of America; Good But |
|
I have recently learned that Darrall Issa's first subpoena was issued to Bank of America. That sounds like a good idea and action, but the question is what is Issa actually looking to uncover. I think Issa is going to use this subpoena and the information gained from it to blame Democrats and the government for the 2008 financial meltdown. Since the meltdown began and even during the investigation of the financial meltdown Republicans have been trying to blame the government for the meltdown. Issa himself and the questions that he is likely to ask cause me to think he will try to claim the financial meltdown would not have happened if Democrats had not been in control of Congress.

2. That's just more bullshit |

That proves how short Americans memory span is.
According to the right, all our problems began when "The Dems took over congress in 2007. That totally ignores the FACT that Bush still had and used the Veto pen and rubber stamped everything the Rep house did from his election until his departure.
The financial meltdown happened because the rethugs stripped away any regulation that would have prevented it. The dems do have some blame as Clinton did sign the CFMA in to law but at least he had the balls to admit it was a hell of a mistake. I don't recall W EVER admitting ONE of his countless mistakes~
