Associated Press - February 18, 2011 12:05 PM ET

MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Many Wisconsin labor supporters are looking for alternative ways to protest Gov. Scott Walker's budget repair bill as Capitol demonstrations continued for a fourth day.
<snip>
As an alternative, Madison physical therapist Nan Schaefer has encouraged teachers to boycott businesses that contributed campaign funds to Walker in the last election. Protesters set up a Facebook page listing those contributors.

1. A good idea.
Any state that tries this crap should follow the examples set in Wisconsin. If republican governors think this is a slam dunk for them, getting rid of the unions, they better think twice.

11. Say NO to TDS
I just sent the following message to TDS:

"Because of TDS support of the Republican Party and Scott Walker's campaign in particular, I will be looking for another phone, internet, and satellite TV provider when my contract expires."

It would be interesting to see their response if they received several thousand messages like this!

7. Boycott Senator Randy Hopper's business too.
Hopper was one of the Senators that indicated he was initially "on the fence" but is now in Walker's camp. He owns radio stations in the Fond du Lac area. I've been writing letters some some of his advertisers letting them know I will no longer be able to do business with them if the cuts pass. I don't know if it helps, but it can't hurt.
