The fallacy and stupidity of right wing thinking when it comes to unions

I was looking at freeperville and they all hate unions. They think unions are bad and should be eliminated completely.

Why? I think its a combination of jealousy ("they get better benefits than me") and greed, namely the delusion that one day, the right winger will claw his way to the top of the pile and be able to exploit all the workers beneath them.

I doubt that most of them will ever reach that high goal ever, but they think and hope they will, hence their opposition to unions.

GREED and DELUSION and JEALOUSY are the key components of the right wing opposition to unions.

2. There's another angle...

...when you need others, in solidarity, to band together and exert countervailing force against management and the forces of capital, then you're not omnipotent. You're not master of your fate. You're not in control of your destiny. Not by yourself, anyway.

Some folks don't want to face that fact. It puts the lie to a great American myth.

4. Which would also explain why most freeper types....
Have such rabid, irrational belief in a vengeful Old Testament kind of God whom they can "command" with their prayers. It's another form of being in control for them.

3. The anti-union people I know are convinced that if unions are
busted, everything will be cheaper. They believe 'high wages' for unions workers cost them money.

Cars will be cheaper if the workers only made minimum wage. Taxes will be lowered if teachers, police and firefighters were paid less. Etc.

It's all about them and their outrage that the costs of union employees' salaries or benefits are passed along to them in any way.

Greed seems to be important to them.

6. But what's really sick is that they never seem to be bothered by
the fact that corporate CEOs are making millions off of them. No outrage at the bankers, oil companies, insurance companies, etc. stealing their hard earned money.

All the rage is directed at their fellow working people. I'll never understand it.
