Thank You, Scott Walker

Thank you, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, for waking a sleeping giant.

Thank you for the awesomely uplifted spirits of Wisconsinites from Superior to Kenosha and Eagle River to Platteville, who trekked to the state capital to defy your union-busting grab.

Thank you for the caravans from North Carolina and New Jersey and Utah who came to a small city in the Snowbelt to join the cause. They know this is not Wisconsin's fight alone. They know that in fifty states, we all are targets of a nasty national conspiracy to destroy unions and the middle-class society unions have built.

Thank you for those whose signs proclaim, "Former Republican."

Gov. Walker, when you concocted a fake budget crisis to have an excuse to rush a union-busting bill through the Legislature, you showed yourself to be as deaf as the Hosni Mubarak so many signs have compared you to.

1. Marx said that the revolution will only take place once the middle classes realize...
...they will never, ever join the upper classes.

King Scott is doing all he can to hasten the realization.

3. Sadly there were no wing nuts around when he said it because modren wing nuts
think hard work and the stock market will land them on easy street, they can't grasp the fact that the wealthy inherited their wealth from people that exploited the hard work of others to enrich themselves, because that flies into the face of their belief that everyone starts out as equal in the US. Reagan said that anyone can become wealthy all they had to do is want it badly enough and the suckers believed him.

2. Despite the shitstorm so many have experienced, it's an easy lesson.
It could have been much worse - assuming we learn from this, follow through and drown this ugly baby in the bathtub.

4. The state of Illinois also says thanks to Scott Walker

SPRINGFIELD -- Illinois Senate President John Cullerton is again thanking Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker for his contributions to Illinois’ economic rebound.

“I must say, I really did not expect Governor Walker to work this hard to make Illinois look so good. Once again, I’d like to thank Governor Walker for his ongoing efforts to market Illinois as a great place to live and work,” Cullerton said. “First he let everyone know how much lower our tax rates are than his, now he's focusing on how much more stable Illinois is than the chaotic Wisconsin he's created. I can’t wait to hear how he’ll help us next.”
------

“When Scott Walker promised to create 250,000 jobs, I mistakenly assumed he meant in Wisconsin,” Cullerton said. “He’s certainly turning out to be a great neighbor.”

5. Yup. Scott Walker exposed the Koch's next moves for the whole world to see.
Now unions across the USA are becoming educated on the right wing's plans.
