The National Institute for Civil Discourse...check out who's on this...
This will open at the University of Arizona and was initiated in the wake of the Tucson shootings.

Here's the interesting list...

Bill Clinton and George "atheists aren't citizens" H.W. Bush are the co-chairs.

Sandra Day O'Conner and Tom Daschle are honorary co-chairs.

Board members will include former secretary of state Madeleine K. Albright; Kenneth M. Duberstein, chief of staff to President Ronald Reagan; Fox News anchor Greta Van Susteren; Trey Grayson, director of Harvard University's Institute of Politics; and former representative Jim Kolbe (R-Ariz.).

3. Apparently -
Civil discourse means "Oh, I agree with right wingers and corporatists". How has our country fallen so far?

5. That's not quite what she said - what she actually said was even worse.
When asked about all children dying in Iraq, she said it was "worth it."

8. Sounds like the "no labels" movement.
Bow, genuflect, and take it. The violence was from one side only and encouraged by one side only and 100% uncalled for. It is they who need to learn how to act in civil society.
