PG&E says crews making prograss on power outages

SACRAMENTO, CA - PG&E Sunday said it had restored power service to nearly half the homes and businesses left in the dark from last weeks storms, and the utility said it expected to have power to many of the rest by late Sunday night or early Monday morning.
More than 30,000 customers lost power in the immediate aftermath of the storms Friday and Saturday. Sunday the company said it had 16,660 without power.
Most of those are concentrated in Calaveras, Amador, and Tuolumne counties.
