MSNBC deifying Clinton -smells like the Reagan deification
God, could MSNBC promote this promotional "documentary" any more? I've never seen anything this heavily promoted.

Well I'm going to tune out. It has had a negative effect on me. I'm a little skeptical at this point, it's so over the top.

13. Hauling in speaking fees from corporate interests who profited from his selling out of workers?
Don't call these fees "kickbacks"! Oh no!

As I sit and think of my days in Madison last week, I can't imagine Billy-boy walking beside me.

I can see him in all manner of international situations where the people adore him.

But I can't see him walking up Mifflin to enter the Capitol Square in support of UNIONS.

I wish he would SHOW UP AND PROVE ME WRONG, BUBBA!

18. Or even Hillary or Gore or Kerry...in WI we are on our own
with respect to support from the national democratic party.

As revealling as the past week has been about the GOP agenda for America

It has also revealled the lack of Democratic support for workers.

Sorry, but it's true.

Time to MOVE ON!

No one -- NO ONE -- supported him more than me back in the day, but I have learned a lot since then and am ashamed at my ignorance about what was really going on during his terms.

14. Ponies much? Clinton's *still* working on the "side agreements" all these years later
Soon. He'll let you know when they're ready. Shoot, if the fact that he is taking this amount of time and care with these things doesn't prove his commitment to workers, I don't know what will!

21. That's weird.
Three years ago, they were calling him a racist.

I'll never understand why Democrats are so eager to dump on the only successful president (with the jury still out on Obama) in the last 30+ years. The Clinton years are our best argument as to why Democratic policies are superior to Republican ones.

now its time people in america see what great things he has done in the world.

25. I am saddened at those that herald Clinton while forgetting Carter
Clinton enjoys hobnobbing with the moneyed interests and some good does come from those efforts, I would agree. But, Carter's interests all along have been to make things better for populations through health and human rights endeavors. It wasn't to enjoy the power that comes from associating with the movers and shakers. For Tweety to herald Clinton while demonizing Carter over the years, just shows anyone paying attention what a shallow, shallow man he is.

26. Get got stuck with the bill for Viet Nam
and the helicopters going after the hostages in Iran didn't have oiled pre-filters on them. That was so stupid it had to be intentional. But the media smeared him.

Suspiciously, he hasn't called-out the propagandists who destryed his good name. Drives me nuts that we just take it and go away quietly.
