JONESBORO, Ga., Feb. 17 (UPI) -- The sheriff of a Georgia county said a reporter invaded his privacy by friending him on Facebook to see a picture of him with his middle finger raised.
WGCL-TV, Atlanta, said a concerned citizen sent in a picture from Clayton County Sheriff Kem Kimbrough's Facebook page of him flipping the bird and reporter Wendy Saltzman sent Kimbrough a friend request so she could see the image as posted on the site.
"That's basically an invasion of my privacy, that's the way I look at it," Kimbrough told a WGCL news crew who asked him about the photo.
"Which is why I'm going to be making a complaint against Wendy Saltzman with your editor for sending me a friend request, under false pretenses. I mean, because that's what she did it for," Kimbrough said.

Personally I don't know if it's really proper for a sheriff to be posting things like that. I know I try to keep it civil as best possible when my name is attached to things, and even when it's not there's still a very high risk of anything you say, do, or post on the internet being tracked back to you.
