Maybe in my lifetime, anarchy will become the way to let our corporate masters know we are unhappy with their gluttony.

3. You and the tea party have similar quotes - we have areas in common with them
They did not like the corporate bail out either - if we could unite with people where we share common ground instead of fragmenting we might have a valid force

5. When the politicians begin ending social programs while continuing tax cuts to the rich,
running two unfunded wars and continuing military spending greater than the rest of the world combined...oh, wait, they are doing that now...

6. Most people's paychecks come from a corporation, large or small.
What's on yours? You don't have to say...but have a look at it anyhow. Bet it's a corporation. Are you going to quit to demonstrate your freedom from the corporate world? I doubt that very much.

8. Ah so since people work for corporations, they can't complain?
They can't advocate for change, for regulations, for a more level playing field? If they are working for a corporations they should simply shut up and work, is that what you're saying?

10. Odd. I didn't say any of those things.
My point was that most of us are employed by corporations of some sort. We voluntarily do that, in exchange for a paycheck. They are not our masters. They are our employers. Masters own slaves. I did not say we could not complain, advocate for change, or anything else. I would not say that.

Incidentally, I have not been employed by anyone but myself since 1974. I have done contract work for corporations, but I have not been an employee. I have also turned down contract offers from corporations with which I disagreed. That form of self-employment was my choice, and my way of remaining free from corporate control.

16. And Corporations cannot make money without those
who work for them. In fact, they owe everything they have to their employees. There are actually CEOs of corporatiions who understand this and as a result, treat their employees very well. Costco is an excellent example of how a good corporation works.

What was your point, btw?

20. I read #10. My question was what was the point of your
'challenge' to people who work for corporations made in your first post:

What's on yours? You don't have to say...but have a look at it anyhow. Bet it's a corporation. Are you going to quit to demonstrate your freedom from the corporate world? I doubt that very much.

What exactly does that mean?

Why should anyone have to quit for demanding fair treatment from their employers?

We have laws in this country regarding the fair treatment of employees.

Did you think that employers can just fire people, legally, for raising issues of unfair employment?

Have you seen what workers in France and Britain are doing to remind Corporations that this is not the case?

We are not a country of 'by the Corporations for the Corporations' and whenever Corporations exceed THEIR role in societies, history shows that when they need a lesson reminding them that everyone is equal in this exchange, both workers and employers are entitled to FAIR treatment, FAIR pay for what they do, the people themselves often have to teach them lesson, as is happeing in Europe right now, and if things don't change here, will happen here.

There is no need for anyone to quit their jobs to teach that lesson, is there? Not as long we claim to be a democracy. That's why we have unions, because we know that Corporations get greedy when not kept in line and reminded that if they exceed their rights and abuse workers, there WILL be consequences.
