9. absolutely, but you've got to wait a year, unfortunately.
(In WI, you have to be in office for a year before you can be recalled). That said, many Repub state senators are eligible for recall right now. . that would be a good start, anyway.
WI has a weird (but efficient ) system that lets you vote to recall someone AND elect a replacement in the same election.. .could be useful.

12. Wow, I learned that song as a kid attending the summer Farmers Union Camp.
Not till later in years did I realize what the song was truly about.
Growing up on a wheat & cattle farm in the late 60's, I recall my parents loyal involvement with the county & state group.
The Farmers Union was of course, the only way a farmer was assured a voice in the marketing & price parity of the grain they grew.
Independent farmers were fearful of corporate farming operations.

Even as a 7th grade kid, I remember also the opposition to the Farmers Union was the Farm Bureau & oddly was represented by Republican supporters while my Farmers Union friends were all Democrats.

My parents, solidly behind Hubert Humphrey at that time, were fighting the fight similar to the Wisconsin protesters today.

Solidarity forever, yes, its the only way.

Thanks
Blaze
