D'ya think there are any possible Oscar-winners who'd mention Wisconsin in the acceptance speech?

Unfortunately, Tim Robbins isn't nominated for anything tonight-or Sean Penn-but there should be somebody there who cares about this.

Given the tradition of political Oscar speeches, it'd be nice if it DID happen.

Who said something about the wars a few years ago? Or did I imagine that? For awhile in the 70's it was "what would they say", and now it is "what will they wear"?

Hollywood is a union "town", after all.

6. Maybe one of the speakers or winner's mom or dad was a teacher, firefighter, policeofficer etc.

Maybe it will hit home for someone 'big' enough to say it to the world.

she won the SAG award recently.
