2. However, it is being covered on Al-Jazeera and RT-TV fairly well.

3. It is being televised
Like you said, about Brandzel.

It's on YouTube. It's on Twitter. It's online.

Old school media, especially TV, is state propaganda. This is not news. It's been obvious for well over a decade. I mean - I haven't watched TV in over a decade, and when we go out to eat and there's a TV at the restaurant - it's so freaking obvious. You can feel the sickness pouring from the TV screen with every commercial, every "news" show, every jowly old rich white man delivering the corporation approved message.

I think it's time to get over it and accept that we're the media now. Take pictures and videos, upload them, and spread the links around.

4. Word up. I challenge anyone here to stop watching TV news for 30 days.
I know it may seem hard, but just do it. Get your news from any other source you choose for 30 days, but absolutely NO TV in that time.

Then go back and take a look at whatever news show you were used to watching. You will actually be shocked at what you see. It really is as bad as people say it is. It is Pravda on steroids, with the big difference being that the people of the Soviet Union KNEW that Pravda was bullshit.

6. I almost never watch TV news, so no problem there. :-)
Unless of course I want to hear the greatest celebrity gossip (which I can find online anyways).

US news programs are so watered down and useless it's ridiculous. They're even wrong over 50% of the time, or too biased to even be called "news."
