The United States Transport and Safety Administration (TSA) has now given the all-clear for passengers aboard Air Jamaica flight 037 from Kingston, Jamaica to disembark in Fort Lauderdale, Florida after an alarm was raised that there was a cargo threat.

The Air Jamaica flight landed at the Hollywood International Airport around 9 o’clock this evening but the passengers were not allowed to get off the aircraft for about 45 minutes as TSA authorities combed through the luggage on board.

A senior Air Jamaica official who confirmed the report said following the search, the passengers got the all-clear and disembarked.
