New packaging noted for those that are keeping track |
|
I have noticed that cereal boxes are smaller, bread loaves are shorter, but new observation today.
My tissue boxes are about 2 inches shorter and cost about .60 more.

5. Oreo cookie size down 20%, packaging changed to take up more space. |
|
Safeguard, Dial, etc, changing bar shape to take up more space, but less product.

3. Remember when a can of coffee used to be a pound? |
|
Now we're down somewhere between 10 and 13 oz. No, I'm not drinking more, they're just putting less in the can.

9. Ah, I remember it well. I remember |
|
getting most of my money's worth when I went to the store. My children get sick of my talking about the "good old days" when I could feed a family of 5 on $30.00 a week and we actually had meat. I must start measuring my coffee by the grain. There is only so far money can go when one is on Social Security largesse only.

I just now looked at my tissue, compared to an older box, same size. We use Dollar General square boxes, they are made by Kleenx, actually, 1.00 per box.

The box they come in is about the size of a cigar box. There were two pieces inside. The box was big enough to easily fit six or maybe even eight pieces in the same box.

And a Congress that isn't blowing the whistle on either theft by our banks,
theft by our credit card companies -- or theft by our corporations against
consumers --
and where is Elizabeth Warren?
This is consumer protection?
