I finally got out of my house!
My ex-husband came and dug me out. In all the years I've lived in Vermont, I don't remember a storm like this. We got 32 inches in less than 24 hours on top of 5 inches the day before and we already had well over 2 feet on the ground. Off the path, the snow is over chest deep.

It's a winter wonderland alright.

We have to facilities in Vermont and I avoid traveling there this time of year.

2. Meanwhile, people next door in NH
are cutting trees down and building arks, just in case.

Here in the desert southwest, we're having fires two months ahead of schedule because it's been so dry.

10. And here in North Florida things are blooming and putting out leaves
Two month early. I'm expecting there to be a late frost to spoil the spring blooms, but I don't remember it ever being this warm this early. It has been lovely and warm for the last three weeks.

This is not normal!

3. We were lucky down here in MA
We only got rain out of that storm, although some areas are now seeing flooding. All hell will probably break loose when the snowmelt starts coming down from up north.

4. We got all of ours in January-February
We had snow stacked up from plowing over 10 feet high until this weekend.

9. What a nice ex! Glad you're safe and sound!
Los Angeles is again rivaling Seattle in the rain department, which means a very green spring... and then a treacherous fire season come summer.

I'm a Cali girl, cali... I don't think I could survive long in a Vermont winter!

12. Thanks, JL. And yes, he is a nice ex
Even drove me over to Burlington on Friday. We're much better as friends than we were as spouses.

11. Good.
The fellow who usually plows our driveway was "snowed in." A snow plow actually went off the road near our driveway. It took my son and daughters many hours to clear a path in our driveway.
