I think this is the most beautiful peace sign I have ever seen - pics
Great job kids! :applause:

Students demonstrating at the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison, Wis. , form a peace sign on the floor of the rotunda Thursday, March 10, 2011. Demonstrations at the Wisconsin State Capitol continue as Assembly legislators voted to approve an amended version of Gov. Scott Walker's controversial budget repair bill.

Students from Hamilton Middle School in Madison, Wis. , clockwise from bottom are Ellie Bohm, Reid Annin, Jack Becker and Brooke Varian, join hands and chant political slogans on the floor of the Wisconsin State Capitol rotunda as protesters of Governor Scott Walker's controversial budget repair bill continue to gather Thursday, March 10, 2011, in Madison. State Assembly legislators voted to approve an amended version of the bill, which strips most collective bargaining for public employees.

Madison East High School students Scout Slava-Ross, left, Amelia Soth, center and Emily Ptak-Pressman join demonstrators on the ground floor of the Wisconsin State Capitol rotunda as protesters of Governor Scott Walker's controversial budget repair bill continue mass protests inside and outside the building Thursday, March 10, 2011. 6. Part of why I left DU years ago
was all the hate on young people. "'Cause they ain't paying no attention 'cause they're all listening to that devil music on them there newfangled iPods."

I feel justified. :)

15. I was so happy to see WI
at Madison students show up. I am in Ohio....went to SB 5 protest a couple of Saturdays ago and NO OSU STUDENTS showed up. I was so disappointed. The Capitol is only 2 mile south on High Street from OSU.

I am very proud of University of WI, Madison Students!!!!! VERY PROUD and ENCOURAGED. Come help us in Ohio.

25. As an "old person" I agree with you.
I've gotten very vocal when I see some "adult" disrespecting a young person. It happens often at fast food joints and on the street. The majority of "kids" I've met are incredibly polite and respectful, especially when they're given respect.

Even though I'm on the young side of ancient, I still remember what it was like to be a teenager. It was always awesome when some old guy would treat me like a human.

Oh...and I listen to that devil music, too. :-)

Just because they aren't looking right at you doesn't mean that there's nothing going on between their ears.

19. It's great to see kids getting involved...
I wondered if it would happen, but a few years ago I was at a Civic meeting where there were HS and college kids, and I told them that my generation, (Boomers), were taking everything the earth had to give, and if they didn't start getting active, they would inherit a world with few resources...all harder to get.

I have faith in the younger generations, they just need to see the threat, that is a serious motivator.

29. So, who are the so called "Real Americans"? People carrying guns and wearing hats with tea bags
and carrying hateful, misspelled signs, or these fine young Americans? I think the choice is clear, now if we only had our own media to report the reality of what's happening instead of their ignoring stories, making up stories and reporting only that which confuses their sheep, divides this nation, and supports the rich, powerful, corporations like the Koch Klan. Ahhh? I'll go with the young Americans lying in the capitol in the shape of a peace sign. And to Walker and his band of thieves, from their Repulicon, Fox GOP, Koch funded political war machine, "Heil! Fellow, Thieving, Dicktating Dirt Bags"!
