Jayna Davis links Homeless man arrested in Qunicy to OK City bombing

The author of a book on the Oklahoma City bombing says a homeless man arrested in Quincy on Wednes day is the same man identified by several witnesses to the bombing as having been with Timothy McVeigh before the deadly attack.

But an FBI spokesman, Greg Comcowich, said a man named Hussain Al-Hussaini was "thoroughly investigated" and "found to not have any role whatsoever in the attack on the Murrah Federal Building in 1995."

Comcowich did confirm that a man named Hussain Al-Hussaini had been seen with McVeigh prior to the bombing.

Quincy Police on Thursday spoke with the author and notified the FBI of the arrest of Al-Hussaini for slash ing a man’s face with a beer bot tle.

I am not convinced by her conclusion, but there is no question that there was a group of Iraqi exiles in OKC and a figure who was under FBI investigation (an investigation that was botched). It's not clear who masterminded the bombing, but there was a John Doe #2 that matched the description of a man whom multiple witnesses saw in the company of Tim McVeigh and Terry Nichols on numerous occasions in the period leading up to the attack.

The white Neo-Nazis in Oklahoma had a bizarre mix of allies. The problem with Davis' theory is that it serves her self-serving agenda, and that of the Bushies who want to brand the Clinton Administration for responsibility for 9/11 and to justify the invasion of Iraq.
