Can someone give an idea of what is going to happen when all the signatures are gathered in WI? |
|
Anyone have a link to a Dummies guide -- or give a breakdown on what the steps are, and how long till the pukes are actually out?

5. Walker will submit a bill to the legislature. |

To declare all recall attempts null and void regardless of what the WI constitution actually says and they will railroad it through in violation of all state laws. We're not dealing with an enemy that recognizes any existing laws to the contrary of their policies.

But in my post I said everything would be done regardless of what the state Constitution or any other law says to the contrary. It was meant to highlight how obviously illegal the union destruction bill was rammed through.

Joliet actually. I really hope that my WI brothers and sisters can overcome. I'd hate to have to revise my fond memories of Lake Genevia summers ;-)

violated legislature rules and open meetings laws
Language in the Constitution re: recalls is pretty clear
Article XIII §12 Recall of Elective Officers
Most of §12 explains who is eligible for recall and describes the process. The final paragraph of the section is as follows:
§12(7) This section shall be self−executing and mandatory.
Laws may be enacted to facilitate its operation but no law shall
be enacted to hamper, restrict or impair the right of recall.
