Kansas GOPer: Let's Shoot Illegal Immigrants Like Pigs

Kansas State Rep. Virgil Peck (R) suggested Monday that the best way to deal with the illegal immigration problem may be the same way the state might deal with the problem of "feral hogs" -- by shooting them from a helicopter.

The state's House Appropriations Committee was debating financing for controlling the feral swine problem, the Lawrence Journal World reports, when one legislator suggested the problem could be handled by shooting them from helicopters. Peck offered: "It looks like to me if shooting these immigrating feral hogs works maybe we have found a to our illegal immigration problem."

Scott Rothschild of the Journal World reports Peck as saying, when asked about the comment, that he was just joking:

Asked about his comment, Peck was unapologetic. "I was just speaking like a southeast Kansas person," he said.
He said most of his constituents are extremely upset with illegal immigration and the state and federal government response.

He said he didn't expect any further controversy over his comment. "I think it's over," he said.

It is way past time that we little people banded together and simply ignore the damnable string pullers at the top of the hierarchy. Let them harvest their own damned crops, let them mow their own damned lawns, let them drive their own damned limousines and most of all, let them eat their own damned money. See how the hell far that gets them.

There are a lot, lot more of us than there are of them. All it takes to wrest control from them is to stop obeying them.

Radical? You bet. But they are being radical right now too. In fact, I would say it is very, very radical that there are starving and homeless people here in the USA. Much less around the world.

A few years ago, a photographer committed suicide after he took an iconic photo of a small African American child who was attempting to crawl to get food. It was clear she wasn't going to make it, it was already too late for her. There was a large vulture hovering right behind her, awaiting the inevitable...

To me that symbolizes all that is wrong in this world where the fat cats at the top want us to believe that keeping them in control is the only way to organize ourselves. They want us to believe that we must wage wars, and consider shooting each other from helicopters.

We are better than that, and they can go to hell. IMO.
