it will kill those bad apple reactors like it's been killing the Gulf of Mexico.

3. Like we knew it would be
It has never, ever been a sane option.

Had we thrown all the money at renewables 40 years ago like those stupid old hippies told us to, we wouldn't be in this mess of nuclear catastophes and a dying Gulf of Mexico.

4. Exactly.
With all the money we've wasted on nuclear, we could be so much further along with really clean energy. This nation is stuck on stupid.

6. Crossing that bridge when you come to it, works great, until you...
discover to your and my mortification that the bridge you'd depended upon, is long gone, by the time you need to get across the creek.

It's the shit creek without a paddle syndrome again and again, all because the EXPERTS forgot, for whatever reason, to factor in that missing paddle and that washed out bridge to somewhere. The main thing to the EXPERTS was their bottom line. Money outfactored sanity and reality again.

5. Don't give them any ideas
You make a very serious point with this silly observation. The arrogance they exhibit to gamble that they will be able to control their technology when they clearly know that they can't. To have risked everyone's future on such a unstable foundation is madness.

thinking it appears.
