Despite all the memes to discourage us in WI, I have never been more encouraged
We are making serious progress on the recalls which is great. I'm talking to people who NEVER vote in "little" elections like the one we have here in April 5th for State Supreme Court...and they are all planning to vote this time. And people keep saying how much they have learned about the political system in our state in the past 5 weeks. We have a long way to go, but people are more awake than I have ever seen them. We must keep together, keep our eye on the prize, and soldier on.

Talk to everyone you know about what is happening in the states right now. The more I talk to people, the more they want to know what is going on with details. Educate, empower, and elect wisely :)

3. The key is for them to understand the process of elections and government.
Get them to think it through so they question what others say.

If they understand the consequences or benefits of both elections and government along with the programs that are provided by the government. Maybe, they will make better choices.

10. Intent to recall were filed about 2 and half weeks ago for all 8
who can be recalled. We have 60 days to collect signatures which must be 25% of all those who voted in the previous election. Then the signatures are filed and after sigs are verified, etc, an election will typically happen late spring to early summer. The recalled Senator can run in the election against whatever challenger(s) also want to run.

7. Doesn't the saying go, "First they ignore you"
Yeah, that's it. Keep it up. This is for our future.

First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win . by Mahatma Gandhi.
