FL Republican Rep blames 11 year old girl for her own rape ("dressing like a prostitute") Contact |
|
Republican Representative Kathleen C. Passidomo, during debate on school dress codes, blamed that 11 year old Texan girl who was raped by 18 boys and men because she was "dressed like a 21 year old prostitute." This lady deserves to lose her job!!!
Her Capitol Office 1003 The Capitol 402 South Monroe Street Tallahassee, FL 32399-1300 Phone: (850) 488-4487
At least let her know she is a horrible person for saying such a thing.

Imagine, 4chan, the cesspool of the internet. When you say something so low that it even offends them, you've really hit bottom.

5. Shades of Archie Simonson.... |
|
...for those that never heard of Archie, or have forgotten the vile decision he handed down in Madison some 35 years ago, Archie was the judge who said a high-school rape victim "brought it on" by wearing a tight sweater.
Archie was duly informed that "men in long black robes" are "bringing on" violence against themselves.
Well, Passidomo is inviting criticism, and retribution, for her vile comments. C'mon good people of Florida: bring on a recall.

6. she does NOT blame the girl; she blames her PARENTS |
|
That said, I agree with the suggestion that dressing the little girl in a school uniform would not necessarily have prevented the rape, and that rape due to the mindset of the perpetrator, not the victim.
But if you want to be effective in your mail campaign against this rep, I suggest being honest. Restorting to distorting the facts suggest you don't have facts behind you and weakens the complaint substantially.
