They are resource attainment and employment programs. AKA: Reaps

2. I think this is a "wag the dog" effort...
...to get the Japanese radiation story off the headlines.

There are plenty of evil dictators around the world doing horrible things. In fact, we've installed
a few and backed them with money and weapons.

So, why now? Why do we suddenly care about "democracy in the Middle East" now? We all used to
understand that their lines are bullshit They used this line before, when we invaded Iraq.

We saw our government cover for BP during the oil spill. We were told that Corexit was not harmful
and we were told that the ocean would soak up the oil--and that the seafood was just fine to eat.

Now, the energy companies are in the middle of a nuclear PR crisis. They don't want "We The People"
galvanizing against their vested interests. They had to disrupt the constant attention on the
story. The attention on this story only magnifies the fact that most articles written about the
radiation are unclear and filled with quotes from lobbyists who schlep nuclear energy.

Libya as the main story--with Japan radiation as a minor story is a convenient way of saying that
the radiation story isn't important. NO worries here.

When Ann Coulter insulted those who were concerned about radiation and touted the benefits of
radiation--it was obvious what was happening. She carries water for the neocons.

It's all so perverse.

4. Wouldn't that be "raeps"?
Quibbling, I know.

Need to fit the "entertainment" aspect into it somehow to account for the wargasm crowd.
