WI Appeals Court-> Bargaining Law straight to Supreme Court before DEM judge gets elected |
|
Edited on Thu Mar-24-11 03:01 PM by Snoutport
I just saw on JSOnline that the appeals court said to send the bargaining law straight to the supreme court. Are they trying to ram it through before the Supreme Court Judge election in two weeks?
I hope the people of Wisconsin can hold it up!

1. Thanks for posting. Yes, we need to delay until after Joanne Kloppenburg is sworn in... |
|
...and I'm not sure how long that is after the election.
God we're going to have a mess to undo.

Part of me figures that they are hoping they can get contracts signed and make it too difficult to undo. Or, they are going so far so that the worst of their work gets undone but some of it stays in place... their fall back position, of sorts.

9. I doubt they ever had a Plan B. They're so arrogant... |
|
...I've got to believe they really thought the state WAS full of Teabaggers so they were set to rob the state blind on the way to the Oval Office.
They forgot about one thing: The People of Wisconsin.

2. It will take more than two weeks just to get the opening briefs filed. |
|
At least it would in California. Courts don't usually move that fast on an issue as complicated as that law.

3. they don't usually pass laws in 50 minutes, either...hasn't stopped them so far |
|
I'm sure they have tricks up their sleeves at this point. This has all been a pretty well played out strategy.
