It explained the different levels of waves that came in and even the anomaly that deposited a salt lake up in a mountain community.
Irony was the community that suffered from the tsunami 40 years ago and built a hugely expensive 30 m sea wall only to have it drop three feet from the earth quake and then be topped by the tsunami there that was at least 30m or more.
Over 500 aftershocks many as large as Haiti.
Since one of equal magnitude is expected in the Ore/Wash area I checked to see where my niece lived and she is 32 m above sea level 25 minutes East from Seattle. Clearly she is in some danger but not as bad as the lowlanders.
