The media ran, tripping over one another, to get to a teabagger rally. Yet, they refuse to cover
ofe of the largest people's rally in Wisconsin. Why is this not third world mentality?

1. Becuase Teabagger rallies generate more controversy.
Some Teabagger will cause controversy, kick up some dust, create a stir.

This translates into made-for-TV drama, and ratings.

2. I think it's also all that private money funding all of this.
They say there were as many from the media as teabaggers - which I wouldn't doubt half of those were Congressional staffers & lobbyists.

3. Because Teabaggers Fit The TV Network Owners' Reich Wing Political Agenda

Pro-labor protests seem to get more coverage on Al Jazeera than on any American TV network.

4. We had 1.2 Million in DC for reproductive choice in 2004, and they ignored it.
Yet one fat duffer shows up at a Health Care Town Hall with a tricorner hat adorned with teabags, screaming an incoherent, spittle-fueled rant at a Congressperson--- and all of a sudden he's got severl hours of airtime on all the cable networks.

6. become politically relevant
the disenfranchised only get covered when they are doing very colorful stunts, like bringing guns to rallies and shouting down congressmen. Recall the republicans and win, and you will become newsworthy.

9. I wouldn't call it a third world mentality.
But when I express my opinion of what I really think it is I get slapped down because they haven't actually killed anyone yet.

11. I don't understand why the media is so hot to cover the tea baggers.
Where's the motive? Who do they represent that has enough money to buy the media?

14. Apparently one of the bagger Congress people remarked that
there were more press people than teabaggers. The next time there is a leftie rally we need to bill it as a bagger event, then change clothes and signs at the last minute.
