What's next? A more "nuanced" position on genocide?

3. I wouldn't be all that shocked.
What they want to do in Maine regarding child labor is mind boggling. I never would have believed anyone in any position of power in this country would actually try to roll back child labor laws. These people are evil, plain and simple. A more nuanced position on genocide wouldn't really shock me all that much at this point.

4. A more "subtle" approach to the study of bringing back slavery?
Maybe a reassessment of child labor?

How about symbolic inspection into the cost benefits of self-euthanasia?

Perhaps a thoughtful, yet reserved, investigation of stimulus-producing labor camps?

They could explore the potential, economic value of modern, voluntary Serfdom.

Why not form a commission to evaluate a possible long-term deficit reduction through funding for patriotic debtor's prisons?

A cautious overview on the benefits of incarceration in a private prison vs. homelessness and poverty.

Let's not forget a topical treatment of the possible health benefits of no health care.

The creation of "wealth zones" to protect that assets of the most beneficial members of society from the effects of common interests could be worthy of whimsical ruminations.

5. Time to remind people of the benefits of slavery.
Slavery reduces crime, for example. Give it time, and we might actually hear that kind of reasoning.

6. Already been done.
Would shipping inner-city black youth to farms while deporting undocumented immigrants who are already working here solve the black unemployment problem? Western New York Congressional candidate Jack Davis thinks so.

“We have a huge unemployment problem with black youth in our cities,” Davis said at an endorsement interview last month. “Put them on buses, take them out there and pay them a decent wage; they will work.”

His comments made even his fellow Republicans flinch. “I was thunderstruck,” said Amherst GOP Chairman Marshall Wood. “Maybe in 1860 that might have been seen by some as an appropriate comment, but not now.”
