Prince Fucking William every fucking hour on the newschannels, but ...
... they can't seem to find Madison, Lansing, Columbus, and more.

And this is gonna continue every hour for how many more fucking days?

And what happened to that poll from last month that showed only 12% of the American public held ANY interest in royal weddings?

2. Agree so much, I'm getting fed up with it too, a little I can see, but MSM is going
to make the whole thing into a worn out affair. Meanwhile, they can't bring themselves to cover all of the crap going on in this country unless it fits their corporate agenda.

9. My life has been so much better since I killed broadcast news off
I'll watch highlights on You Tube. I'll find grains of truth on Twitter. I'll read newspapers via Newseum. I'll read Harper's and The Economist.

I will not, however, watch broadcast news.

I turned it off for the last time in 2004, sick of their treating the presidential race like a horse race, telling people where the candidates were and what the numbers were but never mentioning a single bit of difference between them on policy matters. I'd been lied to through omission for too long. I was done.

The amazing thing is how little I missed it.

14. Well done, Warpy, and RevStPatrick below, and all others here who have freed themselves
from that remarkably addictive thought-control apparatus.

There is probably no one more vital step to take, if one really wants to improve one's quality of life.

18. Michael Jackson cured me of TV News and TV in general.
The day he died I knew it would be all MJ all the time. I barely ever watch it anymore - just movies and sports these days.

10. Prince Who?
Oh... you must have one of those TV Machines that the propagandists use to keep the masses passive. Luckily, I've been able to keep those devices from invading my house. Have tried calling an exterminator?

12. I think I know what the problem is and you can fix it:
You are watching corporately-owned news channels. You are probably paying for it and being subjected to large blocks of commercials, as well.

Now, that is a problem with a rather simple solution ;)

They can go on and on and on and on about this and avoid covering the things that really matter to our lives.

26. The BBC news I hear on my radio
has done no coverage of William and Kate's impending nuptials. At least I haven't noticed any.

Interesting.

Are the U.S. networks covering it? I don't have a TV, although I watch Rachel Maddow on the internet every evening.

To think that I'm missing the most important social event of our era! Alas.

with large teeth and hair loss issues.

He proves that women go for horse-faced, balding men -- as long as they've got crown potential.
