My sister's mother in law passed this morning and my mother is not doing well at all |
|
It has been a rough week for our family. Please keep us in our thoughts.
I don't want to attend two funerals this week.

:grouphug: One of our friends lost his dad on Sunday and his mom on Wednesday. They postponed their dad's funeral so they could bury them together. The dad collapsed and died at home after visiting his wife in hospital. He visited her every day for at least two weeks. They were married for 68 years.

13. When people are married that long the bond can be |
|
intense. My parents were married 62 years. Dad passed two years ago and my mom will never get over it. She still can't accept that he died. I understand what your friend's family went through - the parents as well as the rest of the family. It can be overwhelming.

15. It's awful for the children, grandchildren, etc., |
|
but it's even harder for your mom. It's hard to continue after losing a partner of 62 years. Give your mom a hug for me. :D
