You Wouldn’t Believe What Republican House Representatives Did Today!
Republican House Representative Eric Cantor led Republican House Representatives into VIOLATING THE CONSTITUTION by passing legislation stating that their ANTI-middle class/poor/senior citizen/education/America Budget Bill will become law WITHOUT passage by the Senate and WITHOUT the signature of the President!!! The “forefathers” they so frequently reference must be rolling over in their graves!

Wasn’t it the Republicans who insisted that the Constitution of our “forefathers” be read ALOUD during their first day in office? Well, that was a grand old waste of taxpayers’ time. They should have attended a REMEDIAL speed course in civics instead.

Are they, unimaginably, stupid or are they, certifiably, insane?

I just heard him making fun of how Boehner pronounces his own name. Saying something like... " Come on "Baynor"? Is my name "Wayner"? I forgot how he ended it but it was hilarious! Need to hear that again!

I loves me some Weiner!!!

5. It means NOTHING. The Senate didn't/wouldn't pass it and
should hell freeze over and the Senate DID pass it, BO has a very nice Veto pen.

They're grasping at straws here because they know the entire country knows they're, like you said, CERTIFIABLY INSANE!

9. Are you freaking kidding me?
They do realize that this is going to be challenged and the supreme court is going to say no, right?
What morons. What's next? Are they going to just pass something saying that they are now all three branches of the government and are not supremely in charge? Suspend the constitution?

11. Shutdown Prevention Law of 2011
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=439&topic_id=783714&mesg_id=783714

Beyond that, though, the bill is ridiculously unconstitutional. “Every bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate shall, before it become a law, be presented to the President of the United States.” That’s from the Constitution. Bills have to be approved by both chambers, in identical versions, before they can become a law, even if the House Republicans of the 112th Congress deem otherwise. The Republicans are attempting to get around this constitutional requirement by including language in the bill directing the Archivist of the United States to print the text of the House budget bill as an appendix once it has passed the House so it can take effect without going through the legislative process. But the Archivist is’t going to do that. Not unless it becomes law, which it won’t.

Oh, and the bill also violates the Republicans’ 72 hour pledge. I’m pretty sure this whole thing is not an April Fools’ Day joke, but who knows…

Actually, I wonder if they passed it on April 1st so they could claim "just kidding". What a slimy bunch we sent to the hill last political season.

22. NO. The bill is real, passed by House republicans today.
Even 15 republicans voted with democrats against that embarrassing farce piece of legislation. Fitting that the bill was passed on April Fools Day, because it is surely a foolish piece of legislation.

23. Insane? Texas Representative
Louie Gohmert explained the reason for Obama's actions in Libya.

Louie tells us that Obama wants to deplete the regular U.S. military in Libya until it is no longer a viable fighting force. After our military is depleted, according to Louie, Obama then plans to unleash his super secret private army on the American people. Srsly.

No Republican should ever receive a single vote in any future election.

29. They know it, but I doubt much of the country does.
And, that is what they are counting on. Most people have no freaking clue as to how their government works, or how budgets and other legislation are passed. I guarantee you that your average FoxPropaganda watcher will see this, and then run around claiming the Dems/Obama "broke the law" for this crock of shit. This stunt, is just another attempt at passing the blame for the gridlock and any possible shut down onto the Democrats.

27. So this is how they spend their time, energy, and OUR money...
Wasting it all on idiotic measures like this that they know are unconstitutional and absurd on face...

rather than taking care of the real business of the nation and helping its citizens. But, of course, it's not about helping the country or its masses, it's about making that 1% who owns everything happy. :puke:

Ah yes, the Stupid really hurts! :eyes:

30. Maybe this is a dog-whistle to help build a hard-core extremist base to carry them
through a backlash and the bad times that can come on them from Labor getting itself organized and strong. As they are forced to temporize, put on a more acceptable public face and become more covert in their REAL social and economic beliefs and values, it could become useful to know who can be relied upon to keep the rabid right-wing fascist faith as most of the rest move toward and take political cover in the middle.

maybe someone shoudl inform them 3 things..
1.. they have no more authority to bypass the senate than I do.
2.. They cant change the pay of congressmen during their term in office..
3... isnt any bill they pass supposed to have the constitutional authority granting them the ability to take certain actions on it. the conveniently forgot the constitutional authority that grants them this ability...
BECAUSE THEIR ISNT ANY

the GOP members that voted for this should be committed to a looney bin because they are obviously insane and living in some fantasy land were they are the only part of the government
